City on a Hill

Welcome Back!

1 Peter 4, V 8-11: "Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay. God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen."

Here we are again, at the start of another year of faith, learning, friendship, community and service. We trust that you were able to reconnect with loved ones near and far, and spend time basking in the wonder of God's creation all around us. I was reminded of how special the area around us is, as relatives from Ontario came out and were once again amazed by the mountains we are so blessed to be near. Here at Menno, staff have been preparing the school for the rush of happy, smiling faces that will soon cross the threshold. Once more we take this journey together, one day at a time, learning to be all that God intended of us.

May we all bring to life The City on a Hill here at Menno!
