We at Menno Simons Christian School believe that it is our personal opportunity to live as “an example.” This phrase in its original form meant “a pattern.” Timothy’s life was to be a pattern for other believers to follow.

This mandate needs to be taken seriously as we recognize the awesome responsibility that each one of us has. No matter our age we have the opportunity to live out this message in a tangible way with each other.  “Speech” and “conduct” have to do with our outward life, “faith” and “purity” focuses on the inner life, and “love” is the bridge that holds them together.

A question that we can ask ourselves regularly is - How am I impacting the people around me?  Do I recognize the opportunity I have and the responsibility that is given to me to impact those around me?
