Menno Simons Christian School (MSCS) is a uniform school. This ensures that students are neatly and sensibly dressed for school and prevents competition and extremes of fashion. Families appreciate the value and convenience that the uniform program offers.
All members of MSCS staff check students for general neatness and uniform compliance. Parents will be contacted if the uniform worn by the student is incomplete or inappropriate.
MSCS’ uniform supplier is InSchoolwear. InSchoolwear is a highly reputable Canadian manufacturer and distributor of school uniforms, based out of Ontario. They operate a retail location in Calgary, and if you need assistance with sizes or recommendations, their friendly and knowledgeable staff are ready and happy to help. Parents can place their orders online or purchase in-store. There are no shipping fees for online orders picked up in-store.
Navy pants, shorts, skorts, or tunics can be purchased at Old Navy, The Gap, Wal-Mart, Children’s Place, or through InSchoolwear. Parents are reminded that all crested uniform pieces must be purchased through InSchoolwear.
On Fridays and other days as specified by the administration, students will be expected to wear FORMAL DRESS Uniform. Students may wear any combination of the items listed in the REGULAR Uniform on any other school day. For a detailed listing of uniform requirements please click here.
