Career & Technology Foundations
Menno Simons Christian School Career & Technology Foundations (CTF) Elective Selection Form 2017-201 8 School Year Grade 6, 7 and 8 students are able to select electives to explore areas of study outside of the core courses. With many electives available, students are encouraged to take a variety of courses in order to broaden their perspectives.
ONLINE Sign-up for ALL Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled for March 22 & March 23.
ALL families (Kindergarten through Grade 9) will be required to schedule an interview time ONLINE via Conference Manager if they wish to meet with a teacher during Parent Teacher Interviews. We will no longer be scheduling interviews at the office or accepting parents on a drop in basis.
Also please note that report cards will not be issued prior to Parent Teacher Interviews, report cards will be sent home on December 9th as Palliser has implemented a new student management system.
Steps for booking interviews:
Step 1 – Pre-Register at https://mennosimons.
You can set up a Parent Account by following the link above. Click the REGISTER NOW button and complete the registration form. Your login credentials (email and password) will remain in the system to make it easy to access the Conference Manager in the future.
Please note that in order to enhance functionality and security, the Conference Manager requires you to use Internet Explorer 7 (or above), Firefox 3 (or above) or Safari 4 (or above). If you are using an older browser, the Conference Manager will automatically prompt you to update your browser and provide you with a link. This is a one-time process and only takes a couple of minutes.
Step 2 – Conference Manager Opens to Parents – Monday March 20 @ 6:00pm
You can access the Parent Login Page using the link in the Confirmation Email. If you do not receive a Confirmation Email, you can login by going directly to https://mennosimons.
If you do not have Internet access, you are welcome to contact the office and we will schedule your conferences on your behalf.
Step 3 – Book your Parent-Teacher interviews
Select the teachers with whom you want to book interviews. You will see each teacher’s schedule. After booking your appointments you can print off your schedule. You will also receive an email containing the teacher name, time and location of the conference. You can log into the system at any time to view your bookings, print, cancel or re-schedule appointments. You have the option of submitting comments or questions to the teacher as part of the booking process.
Today – Pre-Registration begins
March 20 – Start scheduling your interviews at 6:00pm
March 22 – Conference Manager closes at 3:00
March 22 – Parent Teacher Interviews (Afternoon)
March 23 – Parent Teacher Interviews (Morning)

2016/2017 School Year Family Communication Envelopes
Welcome back Menno Families!
Family Communication Envelopes went home with your youngest student today. This envelope contained important documentation that needs to be completed and returned to the school. Each envelope should contain the appropriate documentation needed for your family. Please complete these forms and return them back to the school in the same Family Communication Envelope that it was sent home in. Athletic Program Informed Consent & Policies This form needs to be returned by Monday September 12, 2016 in time for athletic tryouts.
If your child has a medical condition (i.e. allergy or asthma) that may require school staff to provide medication or physical care you will have received a Medical Alert Form that needs to be completed. If you need to submit a Medical Alert Form and did not receive one please click here`
